  • “Delayed Not Denied is a book that hits the right chords and the right notes in the single life of a woman. As I read the book, I found that emotionally and spiritually it was very relatable: as Vanessa told her story, I saw myself. This book is a narrative of faith. It also tells us that there is hope in this walk with God, and we are not left out. Just as He was with Ruth and other great women of the Bible, God is very much the author of our life stories. You won’t regret getting a copy for yourself. As a single woman, no matter your age, it will be one of the best investments you will ever make in your life as you journey with God.”

  • “With remarkable vulnerability and personal stories that range from heartbreaking to hysterical, Vanessa Farrell shares her journey of singleness as she W.A.I.T.s for her future husband. Universal themes such as navigating blind dates, confronting infidelity, and battling menopause remind us of the many ties that bind us as women. The points to ponder at the end of each chapter invite readers to explore their own experiences. This book is a must-read for any woman who ever was, is, or will be single.”
